5 Things We're Loving This Week:
1) "The Defenders" on Netflix- We all need more Matt Murdock, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones,...and yes, even that other guy in our lives.
2) Wilkes Art Gallery's Northwest Artists' Show - up through Sept. 23rd, this brings pros and amateurs together for a juried exhibit and I promise you can't tell which is which.
3) LCD Soundsystem's "American Dream" - Sure, they can retire, but my love for James Murphy can't keep them away for long. This ode to middle age ennui is hitting me where I live.
4) Mezzetta jalapeno stuffed olives - don't knock it til you've tried them. They're fancy enough to be party food and satisfyingly savory enough to be that thing you grab each time you pass the fridge. And they're available at normal grocery stores locally. Take THAT Trader Joe's.
5) Labor Day!! If you don't get this extra day off to make a 3-day weekend, you are exactly who we should be honoring.
